It is another warm and sunny day here in the Bay Area. I am playing hooky from church and getting some much needed rest. My big project for work is done but there are still a few rough edges to smooth out. I am looking forward to getting back to researching and writing about good music.

There are a few events happening around town today that are definitely worth checking out:

• Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre - Zellerbach Hall in Berkeley (One can never see "Revelations" enough!!!)
• Yellowman - Berkeley Repetory Theatre (The last day of a really great play!)
• Alex Bugnon - Kimball's East - Emeryville
• Ledisi w/ The Marcus Shelby Orchestra at The Jazzschool in Berkeley (Great show!!!)
