Hey, where is j-notes?
I know you are wondering where I've been. All we have seen lately is music information.
- Where are the reviews?
- Where are the music recommendations?
- What are the new music releases this season?
- Where are the best concerts and festivals?
- Is he moonlighting somewhere else and not telling us?
- Has his real job consumed him?
- Did he take an extended vacation?
- What are the lotto numbers for this week?
All is well but it has been a busy summer of music and I have been enjoying it all. Work has been busy too. The photo above was taken last night while I was standing in line outside The Independent to see Lizz Wright in concert.
As always, she delivered an excellent show and I promise to tell more about it soon.
In the meantime, Simply Baking has been changed to Simply J Life. Same url but a different vibe. My intent is to focus on more than just baking on this site. One idea I have is to post and tell stories about the photos that I have been posting on flickr.

Glad to hear from you! Can't wait for some new music recommendations! The only show in my near future is EWF! I'll probably be slinging drinks but that means a free show.
