Speaking of Lizz Wright, the soundclips from her debut Verve release “Salt” are now available. They are definitely an elixir for your ears.
From the SF Chronicle, “Getting funky once again Improvisational band Soulive brings jazz grooves back to the dance floor.” Soulive will be appearing at The Fillmore on Friday and Saturday. Here are a couple of soundclips for their new live release, “Soulive.”

I own “The Colored Section” it is a delight to the ears, the beats are smooth and the lyrics are thoughtful, and intelligent, two qualities hard to find in a lot of today’s pop music. Could you send me a link to your review of the cd?
