Chaka answered my questions! About a month ago, Soul Ambassador David Nathan asked Chaka fans to submit questions for this incredible soul diva and my questions were among the ones selected. Read the entire Chaka Q&A session here. Thank you Chaka & David!

in2jazz: I had the opportunity to see you and Ledisi sing together this summer and it was excellent. Will you two be recording together in the future? Would you ever consider doing a tribute album?

CK: Yes (to both questions)
in2jazz: If so, who?
CK: Joni Mitchell
in2jazz: Will there be any future projects with Rufus?
CK: No

  1. chaka was very to the point huh? lol! but that’s okay, i’m loving her anyway—especially this new gem she’s released. can you say off the chain?
    glad your questions were chosen.

  2. I have to disagree with Chris on Chaka’s new CD. She is straight-out murdering some of those classics. I love me some CK but she made an oops. If she does the same to my beloved Joni Mitchell, I will scream!
