Jeremy Pelt at Jazz at Pearl’s this weekend

Extraordinary trumpeter Jeremy Pelt will be playing Jazz at Pearl’s in San Francisco this Friday, 9/9 and Saturday, 9/10 for two shows nightly. He will be featuring music from his new MAXJAZZ release, Identity, which is now in stores. I had the pleasure of seeing Jeremy live in concert last year as part of the “Newport Jazz Festival 50th Anniversary” celebration and he was sensational. In his sound, you can hear a great respect for the elders while he creates a new sound of his own. See you there!
